High atop a hill is an extraordinary home. Built within a 100 year Oak grove the design has a simple low profile and Asian feel. This wine country guest and pool house is defined by low horizontal lines that blend with the natural terrain. Interior spaces open up to the surrounding oak trees, gardens and pool. The design fuses thick plaster walls with slate roof tile and hand crafted wooden doors. A family room separates the dining area from a private bedroom and secluded outdoor spa area.

This wine country garden uses stone steps and pathways to link outdoor activities. Water resistant plants and outdoor lighting offer a beautiful way to get from the pool area to the deck and garden areas below.
