On a Sonoma county hillside overlooking vineyards and orchards, sits this California version of a Tuscan home. Designed for outdoor living, the interior spaces transition to multiple gardens and patios. Arched windows frame views of the valley below. Interior spaces and finishes combine traditonal Tuscan details with a modern design. The nearby pool and pool house renovation offers cooking, a media center and guest accommodations.

This is a design in which the interior spaces create a perfect balance between inside and out. Glass doors and windows open to a wrap around veranda where summer breezes cool the house interior spaces.

This wine country guest and pool house is defined by low horizontal lines that blend with the natural terrain. Interior spaces open up to the surrounding oak trees, gardens and pool. The design fuses thick plaster walls with slate roof tile and hand crafted wooden doors. A family room separates the dining area from a private bedroom and secluded outdoor spa area.

This wine country garden uses stone steps and pathways to link outdoor activities. Water resistant plants and outdoor lighting offer a beautiful way to get from the pool area to the deck and garden areas below.
